She Learns to Golf Young!!!

Hey there...here's a few updated pictures of Kaidyn and us while we are mini golfin at 19 Greens in Kelowna on Sunday...Kaidyn is 11 weeks here! Daddy's givin her golf tips already!!! (she slept almost all 18 holes) hehehe....

3 Weeks

Wow, time flies! Tomorrow Angelina will be 3 weeks old.

The first week was rough, I was in the emergency room with I guess what you would call hemorraging, on the same day that that ER made the national news for being such an atrocity. Between my condition and Angelina's shrinkage (she lost a pound in the first few days) we were at the hospital, doctor, or being visited by nurses every day.

This week Matt went back to work and me and Angelina have been on our own at night and during the day. Matt wishes he were home with us and we do too. He is an amazing daddy!

Angelina is getting big now: 8lbs 5oz. The doctor said her hip is still a little funny but nothing to panic about. She also said that I'm still in rough shape and need to rest and stop doing so much. Most of my un-rest has come from having so many doctor/nurses appointments. That and getting only a few scattered hours of sleep at night!

It's crazy work having a newborn but it is so awesome! Every day we look at her sweet little face and feel so blessed.

Okay, okay, here are some pics. They are from our 3 year anniversary outting to the Crazy Creek Suspension Bridge and the Enchanted Forest, so much fun! Kaidyn is 9 weeks old in the pics, but she is now 10 weeks, wow where did the time go? Enjoy!

Hellooo how is everyone.....no one has blogged for awhile so i thought i'd get the conversation moving......keira....hows angelina? gaining weight? hows her hip? hope all is well with you and matt........the big question...hows parenthood???? does she sleep thru the night?

Here are a few more pics, including everybody's favourite, the pineapple baby. We're doing great; baby is nowhere near her birthweight yet but slooowly gaining. Also we're going back to the doc next week to check on a wonky hip that will hopefully fix itself. On Saturday Angelina will be two weeks old, holy crap! And Sunday is our one year wedding anniversary.

Hello everyone...hope all is doing well and LOVING the weather! its been SUPER great hasn't it......well not much new to report here just working and enjoying the little bit of sunshine i do get to see! Happy Mothers Day to the new mommies - Keira and Melissa!! This is the first of many - enjoy!

On another note: I am doing well, working lots of hours and trying to get the jobsite I am on finished since we are suppose to turn it over to the Owners on June 6th, 2006. I have also been busy helping my girlfriend plan her wedding for this upcoming September; been busy with a new man in my life :) ; and trying to plan my 3 weeks holidays in the summer (10 days spent in Vernon at the lake)

Glad to hear everyone is doing well and thanks for sending pictures of Angelina and Kaidyn - it makes me smile everytime...they are both absolutely gorgeous!

Hi Everyone!

We're home and happy as can be! Here are a few of our cutest pictures.

Angelina is super healthy, except that she shrunk down to 7 pounds 3 oz so she has to keep being weighed. We have no clothes that fit her; last night we bought her some preemie undershirts but could not find a single sleeper that wasn't too big. Even clothes that say "newborn" are super hard to find and usually too big! Today we're going to try to take her picture relative to something so later we can remember how tiny she was.

We are happy to have visitors, just please give us some notice so we can try and feed baby first.

I don't know if your up for leaving the house with her this week, as I asume you are trying to establish some sort of routine and get settled in, but if you want, you are invited to come over on Friday afternoon, evening. we are having a sefood bbq..(see our blog) it may be at our house, or Sammi's. we would love to see you guy's. If not, like I said, I understand.

Aww she's SOOO adorable :) I can't believe it actually happened!!! YAY!!!

I have a couple presents for you, Keira... so please tell me when you guys are free and available and wanting company (cause my friend Anna told me how annoying it kinda gets when she had a baby and people showed up when she was tired and her house was a disaster and stuff...) and I'll come by and see the little angel and give you and her the presents :)

Hello to everyone else!

ANGELINA'S HERE!!!!!

Angelina is finally here!!!! She arrived at 6:22 this morning weighing in at 8 lbs. 2 oz, and 20 inches long! I'm so excited! Kaidyn finally has her little friend. But I can't believe Angelina was almost a whole pound lighter than Kaidyn! I totally thought that she would've been about the same size. Lucky Keira. Anyways! I am so excited and congradulations to Matt and Keira!!!!

Hey Keira,

That sounds rough... I had surgery on one of my eyes a couple years ago and for 6 weeks afterward I wasn't allowed to lie down, bend over or lift any thing heavy. Having to sleep sitting up for 6 weeks made me a little crazy and very sore and uncomfortable. Being pregnent sounds even worse, so you have my sympathy.

To answer your question, we play poker every Friday at my place for a $10 buy-in. I've played a couple tournaments at the casino and I've just started playing a little online. I got 5th place in an online tournament on the weekend and won $80.

Hurry up and have that baby already.

The Eternal Pregnancy

I can not believe we have made it to May 5. I feel like I've crossed into some alternative reality (hell) where I will never have this baby. I am doomed to spend eternity fully pregnant; underrested, uncomfortable and desperately waiting for a baby who will never come!

Maybe I'll make the cover of one of those tabloids, like "woman gives birth to eighty-pound baby!"
