Freeze!

I almost wish I could freeze time. My new baby is all big and snuggly in my tummy, and Angelina is sweeter and funner than ever. Now she is saying little sentences, like "bump daddy, bump" (when they were playing a headbutting game) or "up, mama" or the like. She's picking up new words all on her own and more than once a day she will surprise me with them. Of course I wouldn't really freeze time, since my babies will keep doing more and more fun stuff and being a part of it is amazing beyond description.

This week we went to Lindsay's party in Kelowna, had a visit and dinner with Sammi and Ang, and went to our first strata meeting. Matt is the treasurer of the building now. This weekend will be the ususal and then we have three Thanksgivings, two of them here. Oh well, three turkey dinners isn't so bad. What are you guys doing for Thanksgiving?

I, Robot

This is what "sleeping like a baby" is
It is so hard to take a picture of the munchkin; she won't stay still. Finally I collapsed on the floor and she came over to check it out. That's how I got this picture!
Here we are, a still moment. What a sweetpea.

Of the many new things we've bought for our place, our favourite is the Roomba! Have you heard of this? It's a robot vacuum. When I go out, I just press the button and the little guy plays a cheerful little song and starts rolling around. When I come home, all the floors are thoroughly cleaned and Roomba has plugged himself back into his charger! We have the new generation one and it does so many amazing things, I couldn't believe it until I had one. It's my neat little butler-pet.

I realized recently that the new baby arrives very soon, and now it dominates my thoughts every day. I am really enjoying this pregnancy; it's at the stage now where I can play with the baby. I poke baby, baby kicks me back. Sometimes pretty darn hard! Only two months until I have to give birth again, which terrifies me. But then we'll get to know our beautiful, wonderful little baby. We'll be full family of four; itsn't that just crazy? I can't believe it myself.

Catch Up

Happy Birthday today to Nicole and Erin! And recently it was Leia's and Kailea's and soon it will be Robyn's. Wow, so many birthdays are in August and September!

We have been in the new place for over two weeks now, and it has been so nice. Moving in was one pleasant surprise after another. We had forgotten how big this place is, and that the non-carpet floors were tile. Also the last time we had seen the place the appliances were not here, and the hallways, lobbies, green spaces and common rooms had not been finished.

Angelina was kind enough to let me write this while she was awake, since she decided not to have a nap today. But now she is saying, "Out! Out!" So off we go to play outside!

How lucky am I to look at this gorgeous face all day?

We're Alive!

Happy birthday Sammi! Darn, we missed the party! But we finally have a phone connection from slow, horrible Telus, so I'll email out the new number ASAP.

We also have set up our computer and are building our new computer desk today so I should be on here sometimes now. I still haven't gotten to my emails but will do that this week. I'll post some pictures too, of course. Meanwhile, does anyone else have anything to say? Come on, talk to me!

The move went really great and we love, love love our new home.
