Happy Halloween!

Is it Wednesday already? Another week is just flying by. This is probably my last pregnancy and I am trying to savour it, but time just whips away. My due date is in less than five weeks now; I can't believe it. I will be a bit sad to not be pregnant anymore, but I also can't wait to hold my beautiful little baby in my arms and look at that sweet, pudgy little face.

Today is Halloween so we're going to a family fun event here in town. Then there will be fireworks at the beach beside our house, so we'll sit out on the patio and watch. Fun!

Our Visit to the Dinosaur Show

Stuck in the car again
Angelina wasn't sure what to think about Timbits. She took about a half hour to eat one. Kailea popped them into her mouth whole one after another. Looking at the Dinosaurs
Daddy, I don't really like this part! Crayons are more fun than dinosaurs.

Baby and the Belly

I ambushed the little one as she was waking up. Good morning sunshine!
Little Miss Muffin
Some people wanted to see a belly pic. Oops, not the best shot, but there's the belly.
Angelina loves the new baby already. She rubs and kisses my belly. What a wonderful sister she will be.
A picture of my two babes together. And Dabba too.

Smarty Pants

I haven't been teaching Angelina her colours becuase I thought she was too young. Then last week we tried asking her for her toys by colour and she picked up the right one every time. Then she picked up a yellow one and said "ya-yo" without being asked. Turns out she can say most of the colours too! And I had no freaking idea.

Seeing her soak up knowledge like she has been makes me so glad that I raise her. She learns so much and I want it to be the right stuff. I take my job very serously, and make sure her days are full and varied. If Angelina was in a daycare she would only go on an outing once a month. We are out most of the time, seeing all different people and places. And at a daycare, no one would be reading to Angelina very much. I think that with seven children for every one adult, if Angelina was in a daycare she would tend to hit and have tantrums, because that's what she would have to do to get attention. Daycares are a good thing for some kids, but not mine.

I keep wanting to go to one of these Tupperware parties. That one is like a week before my due date, so I can't be sure if I can make it, Ang. How is the wedding photography going? I tried to take a picture of the Canada butt, but this is the best I could do so far:

I'll have to try again when she is both wearing the suit and standing still. Good luck to me.

YAY!!!!

The jogging suit finally fits!!! She looks sooo cute in it! I love the butt that says CANADA... If we have a girl.... I MEAN.... when we have a little girl, you might have to hand it back down to me... I love it!! :)

Glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving... We didn't do too much, I photographed a wedding on the saturday, so had turkey dinner there. Bryce went to his Grandmas that night. The next day we had a dinner at my moms house, which I must complain I was an hour 1/2 late for because of some meth head that wanted to jump off the bridge and had drank too much wine... "Kids, a whole bottle of methadone and a whole bottle of wine aren't good for washing down turkey dinner!" So ya, finally got off work and made it for dinner, and then Thanksgiving day, Bryce and I stayed home and watched TV, while he did school work and I worked on getting pictures edited.

What is everyone else up to??? would like to hear from you...

Does anyone want to come to a tupperware party in vernon on Nov.23??? you should come... I know, it sounds boring, I thought that before I went to sammi's on the weekend ("I said BEFORE, Sammi !! :) and then we had soo much fun..and got lots of free stuff. Our Tupperware Lady rocks! I will remind you all closer to the date as well.

My Little Pumpkin

We had another good weekend. I made a huge Thanksgiving dinner and Matt was kind enough to do all the gross parts of the Turkey, which is almost everything for the Turkey. Angelina was the life of the party. She was playing games with everyone and feeding each person veggies and dip.

Ang, remember this pretty suit that you got for Angelina before she was born?

Love at first sight. I didn't get my camera out in time but Angelina and this kid were standing inches apart, smiling at each other for a long time.

Three beautiful cousins. In a month and a half there will be almost twice as many of them.

You think I can get any of these kids to look at the camera?

Here you go, Deegy.

Turkey Days

Yay, thank you Ang. And thanks for the reminder about family, haha. Lucky you, you get to drink wine! How was your turkey day?

Our thanksgiving weekend (1 of 2) was really fun. The first night we got stood up, but that's what happens when you have plans with stoners. My sister came though and we had a good dinner. Sunday was dinner with the Garcias, which is always wild and fun with all the kids. It was also nice to spend time with Matt's sister Nicole, who is the same amount pregnant as me and her son and my daughter just love each other. Angelina follows Deigan around everywhere, even motoring up the stairs, and Deigan gives her lots of hugs and kisses.

This coming weekend some of my mom's family is coming from Calgary and I'm making the turkey dinner for the first time. I figure cooking a turkey can't be that hard, since everybody does it. That's what I used to think about giving birth though. Wow, I just compared giving birth and roasting a turkey.

Sleeping Beauty

This baby was much smaller last July!
Wow, so long and lean

This girl is amazing! Her vocabulary is huge and now she's starting to pronounce things really well. The other night she was eating broccoli and she said "broccoli" -crystal clear- three times. It is very weird to hear such a big word from such a tiny girl.

She also does the funniest things, like the other night she got up after we had all gone to bed. She went to my closet and opened it, got my nightie, put it on, and went back to bed and to sleep. I have also found her standing by the bed stroking my hair in the middle of the night. And she often puts her foot up on the bed, just her foot, so I will rub it. I love my baby, she is so much fun!
My due date is exactly two months away, December 3rd. Soon I will have two hillarious sweet little monsters, not just one. Nothing could be better than that!
