Back to Reality

Today my mom called to talk about walking me down the aisle again. She pulled all the stops: crying, begging, guilt tripping, reasoning, demanding and yelling. It was a loooong phonecall and it was hard. Luckily, Sam and Kirsten helped me make a game plan for future calls of that nature (and they will come, she told me). I will not be pushed around anymore.

Later I was in Michael's buying soapmaking stuff and I found those little bottles of bubbles that folks blow on us when we're coming back down the aisle. There was a huge wall of them; they came with tops shaped like little brides and grooms, or butterflies, or other things; some of them came in cake-shaped containers. I just got the plain ones cause they could be opened more easily by the older folks. Aside from the dress, it was the first thing I bought for the wedding. That's one small step for the wedding, one giant leap for me ;)

No offense to you, becuase I know alot of people love Precious Moments; but they are a little too "precious" for me.
Anyway you can totally do bubbles; they are $10 for a box of 25, which, I believe, is exactly the right amount for your wedding. Who says you have to have a formal wedding to blow bubbles, for frick's sake? It's summer. Bubbles are fun.

yeah bubbles are fun.. but remember we arn't walking down an ilse or anything..after the wedding we just plan to slid into the drinking and supper. So there isn't really time for bubbles or rice or anything like that. but if you hava any suggestions where we could incorperate bubbles tell me and I"ll send you some money to pick me up some..
